On July 4th, we had an early surprise birthday party for Granny's 85th birthday! Heather, who organized the whole thing, had to tell Granny that she had invited some of her friends over to keep Granny from asking why she was making so much food. When we all started showing up, Granny was worried that we were ruining Heather's get together. Haha! Granny had all three of her children together again for the first time in decades! I think it was the best gift she could've possibly received!
As for my gift, I made Granny a cake! Shocking right?

Here is the finished cake. There are lots more pictures that were better, but I haven't received them yet and I was too impatient to wait! I had to show everyone the cake! I'm a tiny bit proud! :)
Joey didn't do as well in Granny's museum, I mean house, so we took him outside to play with Heather's bubble machine (she's thought of everything!).
Joey was more interested in getting a hold of that machine than popping bubbles!
Well, maybe the bubbles are a little bit interesting?
