I made these jumbo cupcakes for Pauline's (my mother-in-law) birthday! They were devil's food cake filled with chocolate fudge! They came out so cute and she loved them!! She is especially fun to bake for since she's one of my biggest cheerleaders!!

My first cake for charity!
Last week I made my first cake for Free Cakes for Kids. I received an email that there was a little boy who was turning 4 and his mom couldn't afford a cake for him. She said he loved Spongebob and I knew the perfect cake for him! I called his mom on Saturday morning to tell her I would meet her with the cake at a grocery store near her house. She called me about 5 minutes before I got there (about a 30 minute drive for me) and said she couldn't get a ride to meet me. She had her aunt pick the cake up and I was a little disappointed that she didn't come and I never got to meet the little boy. When I got home I had the nicest email in my inbox. She said she was in tears and that the little boy LOVED the cake. She said he wouldn't let anyone near it! Getting her email made it so worth while! I can't wait to make another one!
Here's a pic of the cake. It was a really fun one to make and even Joe helped!

A picture is worth 1,000 words... or 90 decibels!
Once upon a time there was a sweet little boy who decided to wake his mommy up at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. His mommy, who was still fumbling around trying to make coffee, heard a strange noise and decided to investigate. Low and behold the little artist had created a masterpiece... on the bathroom door! When his mommy took his crayons away, he threw the tantrum of the century!

So many new pics!!
Joey has become quite the ham lately. Whenever I have the camera out he smiles and poses... how could I not take a picture?
More cheesing at the mall. He loves this little boat! He'll sit on it for a good 10 minutes after it stops!
Joe and I went to a friend's wedding last weekend. The reception was in an art lounge. It was really nice!
Joey has been afflicted with his brother's obsession with lizards! He was out on the back porch trying to catch a little tiny lizard, but I couldn't get a decent picture of it. :( Here's a couple cute pics of my diaper sporting lizard catcher though.

This was Joey's first time coloring! He loved it!
That face!
Cameron loves the beach... Joey, not so much. I decided to take the boys down to the beach to watch the sunset knowing full well that Joey doesn't like sand. I figured he was going to have to get used to it, seeing as how I don't see us leaving Florida any time soon. He actually did pretty well!Monday, September 14, 2009
Great Explorations!
Saturday's weather was AWFUL and we needed something to do indoors. We decided to take the boys to Great Explorations and it was a blast!! I wish we would have thought of it sooner!
Joey and Cameron on the slide. Cameron is such a good big brother!
Cameron working the register at the local Publix. :)
Joey got a turn too!
Joey doing a little shopping. It was funny to see the things he picked off the shelf. He must recognize the boxes!
Great Grandpa Joe would be proud! Joey worked in the bakery for a good half hour!Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Cake Comptetion
Lastnight was the final night of my cake classes. We had a little competition, which was judged by random shoppers in the Michael's store. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but it was still really fun!! Here are some pics!!
