Ken's 80th Birthday Bash!

This weekend we drove up to Gainseville for Ken's 80th birthday bash. It was a huge event and over 70 people showed up to Andrea's house. There was a live band, a big white tent, TONS of food and a whole lot of family.
Cousin Greg and his wife Cara came down and although we didn't get to spend too much time with them, we hope to see them again soon!
Me, my sisters, Andrea and Angela, and our cousin Greg.

Joey had TONS of watermelon!

What a mess!

The aftermath!

This is the cake I made for Ken. The top and bottom tiers were white almond cake and the middle was chocolate. There was quite a bit of left over cake and by the time we went to bed, we were so tired that it ended up sitting out on the table all night. While we slept, the dog partied! She ate about half of the bottom tier and ended up getting sick in the house. I hope Andrea likes green carpet!

The culprit!

Joey tormented the dog by standing in front of her crate, jumping up and down yelling "boof, boof!" Haha!! He thought he was safe until I let her out! She ran out and he ran in!

Locking himself in!

Well, that's one way to keep a wild toddler contained!

Me and Joey out on the swing.

My little neice, Alayna.
