During my time taking cake decorating classes, I've met some really great people and become friends with a few as well. My friend Mindy has decided to start a local chapter of a really great organization that gives birthday cakes to kids who wouldn't otherwise get one. She's done all the legwork and even set up a website for the cause. I'm going to help her any way I can by making or delivering cakes whenever she needs me. I'm really excited to be a part of it!
